Computation of grades
If your grade on the final exam is less than 40%, then your grade in the course is F. If your grade on the final exam is at least 40%, then your grade in the course will be calculated as follows:
- Brightspace quizzes: 10%
- DGD quizzes: 20%
- Midterm exam: 25%
- Final exam: 45%
In the computation of the Brightspace quizzes portion of your grade, your lowest two Brightspace quiz marks will be dropped. In the computation of the DGD quizzes portion of your grade, your lowest DGD quiz grade will be dropped.
Midterm exams cannot be rescheduled. If you miss the midterm exam for a legitimate (properly documented) reason, its weight will be transferred to the other components in the computation of your course grade.
